Clutter Police
The Village of Ellenville Code Enforcement Officer has released this year's "Top 10" list of building code violators in the village. Officials hope that the embarrassment associated with being on this list will motivate property owners to clean up waste and clutter and bring their dwellings up to code. The property owners who made the list have been sent repeated notices and appearance tickets. The village also produced a "Top 10" list last year that brought about some positive changes. It is refreshing to see public officials using creative ways to improve the overall appearance of the community.
