Ulster County Real Estate Median Price Down in August
The median Ulster County home price decreased to $255,000 in August--a 5.6% drop from August of 2006. The number of transactions in August 2007 also dipped 2.5% with 153 homes sold in Ulster County. The data does indicate that the Ulster County real estate market is in a leveling off or cooling phase. The fall season is always a busy season for real estate in Ulster County, so it will be interesting to analyze autumn data when it becomes available. The direction of the market in the fall will be very telling about the overall strength of the market.
