November 2007 data indicates that the real estate market might be slowing down in Ulster County. The Ulster County median sales price dropped 2% to $250,000, compared to November 2006. Even more alarming, the number of sales dropped dramatically. Ninety-five homes sold in November of this year, which was nearly 20% off of the pace of November 2006. Such a large drop in sales volume is concerning–especially heading into the winter months, which traditionally is a slower period.
