Ulster County Real Estate Market Shows Signs of Slowing Down

November 2007 data indicates that the real estate market might be slowing down in Ulster County. The Ulster County median sales price dropped 2% to $250,000, compared to November 2006. Even more alarming, the number of sales dropped dramatically. Ninety-five homes sold in November of this year, which was nearly 20% off of the pace of November 2006. Such a large drop in sales volume is concerning--especially heading into the winter months, which traditionally is a slower period.
