Consumer Confidence in Hudson Valley Real Estate is High
A Siena Research Institute report indicates that consumer confidence in the Hudson Valley is the highest of the 8 regions measured in New York State. The expectation for buying homes was up, despite plans for purchasing cars, computers and plans for doing major home improvements coming in lower. It is a good sign for the Ulster County and Hudson Valley real estate market that there is an perceived increase in homebuying plans despite some other negative economic factors including a higher unemployment rate.
