The average 1 bedroom apartment rent is $776, while the average 2 bedroom apartment costs $927. These averages fall below the Hudson Valley average of $901 for a 1 bedroom apartment and $1014 for a 2 bedroom apartment. These increases represent only a 1-2% jump from last year. Vacancies remain very low. Only a 1.8% vacancy rate was reported by the Ulster County Panning Board. Ulster County remains one of the most affordable places to buy or rent in the Hudson Valley.
